Respite Care
Respite care allows young and older people with learning Autistic Spectrum Disorder/ Aspergers, Associated challenging Behaviour/anger Management issues, Difficulties in Communication and Integrating with other people, mental health Diagnosis, Epilepsy etc to enjoy, achieve and participate in a wide range of activities and their families to have a break from their routine caring responsibilities.
We offer trustworthy carers in a variety of situations where it becomes desirable for service users to have 24 hours support in their own homes. It may be for the purpose of having a continuing housekeeper and carer, when families want to proceed on a holiday but require the peace of mind that their loved elderly relations are in the custody of capable and safe hands, or for the reasons of regular breaks, from active caring duties by a family carer.
Bluezone Care also proves services that cover situations needing rehabilitation, convalescence or in emergencies, as an alternative to nursing homes especially when terminally ill clients have chosen to die at home other than any form of arranged setting.
These opportunities, which support ‘Me Time’ for both disabled children and their families, should be fun, flexible and personalised to meet the individual needs of disabled children and their families and address the government’s Aiming High for Disabled Children Programme.
We support children and young people with various disabilities, including those with moving and handling needs, with very severe, complex and/or challenging needs who may or may not have medical or nursing needs, disabled children on the autistic spectrum with additional impairments and older disabled children.
